Hamilton Stephens Steele Martin, PLLC is an established and reputable mid-sized law firm located in beautiful uptown Charlotte, NC. We are growing and looking to hire a Litigation Paralegal to become part of our great team! The ideal candidate will have 2-3+ years of prior paralegal experience, exceptional organizational and communication skills, a self-starter, and team focused. This position offers a hybrid work-from-home opportunity after 90 days and potential to earn an annual bonus. Duties to include but not limited to conducting research to support legal proceedings, assisting with the drafting and reviewing of legal documents, investigating facts to help in the negotiation of legal disputes, recording daily time entries into COYOTE, handling multiple requests from attorneys, managing competing priorities while providing regular internal and external communication. Candidates familiar with working in any of the following areas are encouraged to apply immediately : Construction, Insurance Defense, Bankruptcy, Corporate, Municipal and / or Family Law are highly desired. Candidates must have solid paralegal experience to be considered for the position.

Salary based on level of experience. The most desired candidate will have 2-3+ years of solid paralegal experience. Qualifications :

• 2-3+ years of experience as a paralegal
• Familiarity with legal research
• Ability to prioritize and multitask
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Deadline and detail-oriented
• Familiar with Microsoft Suites required, NetDocs, COYOTE a plus
