Insurance Business Development Representative

Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities :

This individual will have the job of communicating with customers and raising the level of awareness about both the personal lines and commercial lines products we offer, the Tuscano brand, and the benefit the customer can achieve by working with Tuscano. The goal is to uncover opportunities to write more business with our current customers while educating and informing new customers about our product offerings and advantages.  Accept the responsibilities and deliver outstanding customer service in the execution of :

• Increase new submissions, quotes and premium by performing the following :
• Phone Calls – make qualified customer calls each week to promote all lines of business

Qualified customer calls will be defined as speaking with the decision maker, the employee who writes the business or the employee who determines where business is placed at the agency.

Think strategically in planning who these visits are with to ensure that quality versus quantity visits are achieved.

Identify customers that have the greatest potential and grow their new business premium.  Develop a plan of growth for these agents and track their submissions, quotes, binders & renewal retention.
