    • Job Summary :

  • White's Site Development, Inc. is seeking skilled and experienced Heavy Equipment Operators to join our team.
  • The Heavy Equipment Operator will be responsible for operating a variety of heavy machinery for site development projects, ensuring efficiency, safety, and adherence to project specifications.

    • Responsibilities :

  • Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, backhoes, bulldozers, graders, skid steers, and rollers for tasks including land clearing, excavation, grading, and roadway construction.
  • Perform pre-operation checks and routine maintenance on equipment.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, ensuring a safe work environment for all personnel.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, grade stakes, and other project documents to ensure accurate execution of work.
  • Coordinate with site supervisors, engineers, and other team members to ensure project goals are met.
  • Maintain accurate daily logs of work performed and equipment hours.
  • Troubleshoot and address minor equipment issues, reporting major issues to maintenance personnel.
  • Ensure proper care and security of all equipment and tools.
  • Participate in jobsite safety meetings.

    • Qualifications :

  • Proven experience operating heavy equipment in a site development or construction environment.
  • Strong understanding of excavation, grading, and land clearing techniques.
  • Ability to operate a variety of heavy machinery with precision and efficiency.
  • Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations related to heavy equipment operation.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction plans.
  • Physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

    • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Certification in heavy equipment operation.
  • Experience with specific types of equipment, such as SANY ST230V Skid Steer.
  • Familiarity with local Florida utility standards and permitting processes.
