    • Monday to Friday, 8 : 00 am - 5 : 00 pm, plus shared on-call duties

      Job Description : Responsibilities

      Provide cardiology services in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

    • Perform evaluations and management services, including interpretation of EKG, Echocardiography, Cardiac Nuclear Imaging, stress Echocardiography, and Holter / event monitor.
    • Review and sign individual treatment plans for cardiac rehab patients.
    • Perform and interpret Cardioversion and Trans-Esophageal Echocardiography (TEE).
    • Collaborate with other medical specialties to meet established standards and practices of care.
    • Examine, diagnose, and provide treatments for a broad range of cardiac diseases.
    • Use appropriate risk calculators and stay updated with new studies, technology, and medications.
    • Administer prescribed medications in compliance with state laws and practice guidelines.
    • Educate patients and families regarding medications, treatments, and health prevention.
    • Maintain patient records, charts, and other pertinent information, documenting clearly and concisely.
    • Triages patient telephone calls and provides consultations as needed.
    • Participate in physician meetings and assist in policy formation.
    • Keep all licenses and certifications current and unrestricted.
    • Call Schedule

      Shared Echo call rotation, including reading on weekends.
