Outpatient Admissions Supervisor
Position Purpose :
Provide and monitor continuity outpatient admission services to Rosecrance outpatient services in an ethical, legal, and moral manner within a safe and therapeutic environment, consistent with applicable regulatory and accreditation standards. Participate as a team member in the delivery of admission services in behavioral health treatment to patients and their families.
Job Requirements :
- Masters degree with demonstrated experience in substance use disorder treatment
- Must qualify as a LPHA (Licensed Practitioner of the Healing Arts) per Illinois Department of Mental Health Rule 132
- Must be licensed as a LCPC or LCSW in the state of Illinois
- Proven track record of staff supervisory experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
- Demonstrated clinical competency in assessments and admissions
- Adequate written skills to accurately complete required documentation within the time frames prescribed
- Valid drivers license and personal mode of transportation
Essential Responsibilities :
Work hours prescribed leadership and any additional hours deemed necessary for the responsibilities assigned.Maintain current knowledge and expertise in DSM 5, ASAM criteria, and assessment and intervention skills to ensure placement of all patients in the appropriate level of treatment servicesSchedule and conduct admissions with potential clients and their significant others.Serve as a liaison with referral sources, agencies, and community groups in providing networking, linkage, and follow-up to facilitate the delivery of treatment services for patients.Collect and analyze statistical data as designated for outpatient admissions.Serve as point-person to manage daily outpatient census and capacity.Monitor and ensure that the admissions component of patient service records is maintained consistent with SUPR. TJC and Medicaid regulations.Consult with President of Clinical Operations and Admissions Director to develop policies, goals, objectives, and procedures for the Outpatient Admissions.Coordinate and conduct training and educational presentations to Admissions staff.Manage Outpatient Admission team.Manage hand-off communication with Site treatment teams with respect to referral source, psychiatric and physical health needs of incoming clients.Manage daily admission schedule for all identified IOP and PHP sites.Participate and lead weekly Outpatient Capacity Management meetings.Understand and comply with all the principles established by the Rosecrance Corporate Compliance Program and Code of Ethics.Deliver exceptional customer service consistently to every customer.Serve as a role model for other staff, patients, and customers and demonstrate positive guest relations in representing Rosecrance.Schedule : 8-hour shifts
