Unit : Emergency Department (ER), 21-bed unit

Start Date : October 6, 2025

End Date : January 5, 2026

Duration : 13-week contract

Shift : 12-hour nights (7 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AM)

Hours per Week : 36

Weekend Requirement : 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule

Staffing : 4 : 1 patient ratio, unit secretary support

Technology : Latest GE monitors, new ultrasound, advanced stretchers, Meditech EMR system

Estimated Weekly Salary : $1,470 - $1,570 per week

ER Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Tennessee or compact state

Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Room nursing experience

BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required

TNCC and ENPC certifications preferred

Ability to float to Free Standing Emergency Room (FSER) site as needed

Strong communication, clinical, and teamwork skills

Compliance with hospital policies and patient care standards

Required uniform : Black or Royal Blue scrubs

ER RN Responsibilities

Provide high-quality, compassionate emergency care to patients in a fast-paced ER setting

Perform standard and advanced ER procedures using state-of-the-art equipment

Accurately document patient care in the Meditech EMR system

Collaborate with physicians, unit secretaries, and multidisciplinary healthcare professionals

Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient environment for patients and staff

Meet patient experience goals and adhere to all emergency department guidelines

Participate in flexible scheduling and float to other ER sites as needed
