Overview

Marketing Engineer has global responsibility within the Protection Division. The role is responsible for creating marketing collateral that represents the division, working with MARCOM and the Product lines to improve presentations, data sheets, the website, videos and other collateral material. The Marketing Engineer will assist with online calculator tools, raise awareness of reference design activity, create marketing campaigns and work on applicable social media sites. The Marketing Engineer will promote both standard products and customized solutions. Focus on customs should include production capabilities as well as engineering, test, simulation and prototyping capabilities. The Marketing Engineer will market the capabilities of different sites and tailor messages for specific applications and market segments (e.g., EVs, AI, renewable energy, energy storage). The Marketing Engineer shall work with distribution partners and catalogue houses to increase presence on their sites.

Duties and Accountabilities

  • Engineering knowledge preferably in Electrical / Electronics as the role involves working with engineers and developing impactful marketing collateral.
  • Responsible for creating marketing collateral that best represents the division. Working with MARCOM and the Product lines to help improve presentations, data sheets, the website, videos and other supporting collateral material.
  • Work with engineering and MARCOM to launch online calculator tools.
  • Create awareness of reference design activity with media promotion.
  • Launch marketing campaigns and work on the most applicable social media sites (e.g. Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, X) to promote new products or targeted segments (e.g. EVs, AI, renewable energy, energy storage).
  • Create key content to promote lab capabilities such as production capabilities, engineering, test, simulation and prototyping capabilities.
  • Develop collateral material to support sales growth with key distribution partners.
  • Create collateral material that targets catalogue houses to increase presence and mind share on their sites.
  • Brief stakeholders on marketing materials production (PR, Media, Advertising) and provide progress updates.

  • Scheduling and planning are key to launching campaigns on time and achieving key activities.
  • High-level creative thinking and design capabilities while adhering to budgets and policies.
  • Ability to turn projects around with tight timeframes and deadlines.
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills with budgeting and project management.
  • Basic Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical / Electronics preferred) and / or
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Digital Marketing, Business, or related field with experience drafting top quality content alongside engineers
  • Training and Experience

  • Demonstrable experience in marketing management, preferably in the electronics industry. Other industries such as automotive, renewable energy or technology are considered.
  • Specific knowledge and experience : translate technical features into customer-centric value propositions; execute data-driven marketing strategies to drive product adoption and growth.
  • SEO, Google AdWords, social media management and content creation are a plus but not the most important; other relevant marketing collateral creation software.
  • Other Skills

  • Strong analytical, project management, visualization and reporting skills.
  • Proven ability to use initiative and take responsibility for aspects of a project.

    Salary : $80,000 - $100,000 Annual
