AERI is looking for Line Clearance Tree Trimmers. The right candidate will be an advanced trimmer, capable of executing all tasks involving operation of aerial lifts, climbing, rigging, and advanced skills required to safely and effectively complete complex pruning and / or tree removal operations.

$100 per diem will be provided to cover lodging expenses if overnight accommodations such as a hotel or rental are required.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate strong comprehension of ANSI Z133 safety standards (as amended), AERI safety requirements, and safety practices specified by the Client’s policies.
• Demonstrate the ability to lead activities and effectively manage an active work zone.
• Demonstrate thorough knowledge of proper pruning techniques per ANSI A300 standard practices, as amended.
• Demonstrate exceptional knowledge of all tools and equipment required to safely and efficiently complete complex tree pruning and removal operations.
• Demonstrate the ability to work independently and safely assist lower-level performers in development and training.
• Demonstrate proficiency in manual pruning and / or removals of trees near energized conductors during normal maintenance and emergency restoration operations.
• Demonstrate exceptional tree identification skills and knowledge of species characteristics.
• Demonstrate all the requirements for the lower Trimmer classifications.
