Security Officer - PRN

Security Officer

The Security Officer provides a safe environment for patients, visitors, employees, and volunteers. This position is responsible to enforce policy, provide assistance and direction, respond to emergencies, and to provide protection for employees, visitors, and Intermountain property.

Shift Details :

• PRN shifts vary within our department as we provide 24 / 7 Security at all our locations
• Any day of the week Sun-Sat as days, swings or graves shifts (8 hours up to 12 hours depending on the shift / day of the week)
• PRN's are our relief for PTO, holidays, sick calls and leaves to avoid overtime.

Department : PRN officers in our department are asked to help us fulfill responsibilities at : American Fork Hospital, Orem Community Hospital, Saratoga Springs ER, Spanish Fork Hospital and / or Utah Valley Hospital as needs arise.

For roles requiring driving : Expected to drive a vehicle which requires sitting, seeing and reading signs, traffic signals, and other vehicles.
