Stepping Stones Child Care Center, Inc is seeking an immediate full time Assistant teacher to oversee daily classroom activities in our toddler room .

Position requires developing classroom curriculums and creative learning activities for children, ensuring safety of children at all times, and developing report and open communication with families as well as overseeing and guiding assistant teachers.

Specific requirements of the position include :

• High School Diploma or GED
• One year experience in similar environment required
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively
• A positive attitude and team player
• Must be at least 18 years of age as required by State of Maine childcare regulations
• Position is full time with a shift between the hours of 7 : 00am and 4 : 00pm
