This position is a full-time, entry-level legal role focused on assisting veterans with benefits, housing, family issues, and other civil matters. The salary range is $71,500 to $81,500 per year, based on experience and skills.

Position Summary

The attorney will handle Veterans discharge upgrades, housing, family law, and civil matters, working effectively with a large caseload in a high-stress environment. The role requires strong organizational skills, the ability to work independently and as part of a team, and excellent communication skills. Bilingual abilities are a plus. Flexibility to work beyond standard hours, including evenings and weekends, is necessary.

Qualifications

• Active membership in the Florida State Bar
• Experience in civil and administrative legal services to Veterans and their families
• Experience serving low-income communities is preferred
