About The Position

Texarkana is a city in eastern Texas, with a twin city across the border in Arkansas. Spring Lake Park has playgrounds, walking trails, and sports fields. It is also home to the Texas A&M University.

  • Sign-on bonus and relocation assistance available; malpractice coverage provided
  • Must be board certified or board eligible; employed position
  • Medical benefits, life insurance, retirement package, and CME time
  • New grads and experienced neurosurgeons are welcome; 3 other neurosurgeons are on staff
  • Must have an unrestricted Texas medical license (or have the ability to obtain)
  • Call is 8 or 9 days per month (including 1 weekend)
  • 2 clinic days and 3 surgery days; no clinic on Fridays (staff work until noon)
  • Average 15 - 20 patients per day; block time for surgery
