System Engineer - Japanese bilingual

Salary : $65,000 – $85,000

Working Hours : 9 : 00 am to 6 : 00 pm Monday to Friday, but required to be flexible to stay late at night as needed

Primary Responsibilities

  • Responsible for administration, installation and maintenance of system's software, hardware, and configuration of IP services and network applications in a heterogeneous Network / Cloud environment.
  • Evaluates factors such as number of departments serviced by data processing equipment, reporting formats required, volume of transactions, time requirements and cost constraints, and need for security and access restrictions to determine hardware configurations.
  • Analyzes information to determine, recommend and plan layout for type of computers and peripheral equipment or modifications to existing equipment and systems that will provide capability for proposed project or workload, efficient operation, and effective use of allotted space.
  • Specifies power supply requirements and configuration.
  • Monitors functioning of equipment to ensure system operates in conformance with specifications.
  • Provides troubleshooting to technical support issues.
  • Conducts training to users for new modified equipment and software.
  • Learns additional hardware and software systems.
  • Business trips.

Knowledge And Skill Requirements

  • Very good skills of Microsoft Office products, including Office 365.
  • Very good knowledge of Windows 10, Windows Server 2016 / 2019 / 2022, Active Directory, and creating batch files / scripting.
  • Very good Network knowledge (TCP / IP, DNS, DHCP).
  • Very good knowledge of backup software, antivirus software, and PC imaging.
  • Excellent communication skills and teamwork.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Experienced and more than 3 years of related work or career level

    • Supplementary Qualifications

  • Microsoft Certification
  • Any involvement of Project Management
  • Knowledge of Cloud Network, Exchange Server, SharePoint, VDI and / or VMware
  • Knowledge of Cisco / VOIP environment
  • Knowledge of iPhone / iPad environment
