MECHANICAL ENGINEER

JOB DESCRIPTION :

Assist in maintaining the ISO 45001 : 2018 & ISO 14001 : 2015 certificates

Provide advice, support, and technical guidance to the EHS team regarding environmental & safety opportunities on the production floor

Review and continuously improve EHS programs, including, but not limited to permit to work, LOTO, circular materials management, contractor / visitor safety

Creating digital media for EHS programs

Improving departmental efficiency through automation

Participating in incident investigations and providing valuable input for corrective actions

Assisting in process circularity / sustainability evaluations

Updating existing EHS documentation

Ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously across numerous departments

Basic understanding of General Industry OSHA standards

Basic knowledge of EPA and DOT regulations a plus

Demonstrated planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills

Proven analytical, leadership, and interpersonal skills

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Strong computer skills, including Microsoft office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Familiarity with Microsoft Power Automate, Power BI, and Adobe Rush a strong plus

Familiarity with ISO standards a plus
