SUMMARY OF POSITION :
The Licensed Practical Nurse, LPN will provide direct and individualized nursing care to an assigned group of patients under the direction of a registered provider nurse. The LPN will observe, report, and record medical information and nursing care provided in the electronic medical record. The LPN will instruct patients and families according to the teaching plans. The LPN will communicate with the healthcare team to facilitate the coordination of individualized patient care.
