About The Position

Job Overview :

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Radiation Therapist to join a dynamic oncology team. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of recent experience in radiation therapy, be ARRT (T) and BLS certified, and hold an active California Radiation Therapy license. Candidates must be willing to work variable shifts and rotating weekend call coverage.

Key Responsibilities :

Administer radiation treatments as prescribed by radiation oncologists.

Perform patient setup and positioning, ensuring safety and accuracy.

Operate radiation therapy equipment including Varian 21 ex / ix and Elekta Infinity units.

Utilize imaging systems such as CBCT / kV / mV for precise treatment delivery.

Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to monitor patient condition and treatment response.

Document treatment data and patient responses accurately in Epic and MOSAIQ systems.

Participate in SRS and SBRT procedures as required.

Adhere to clinical protocols, safety regulations, and radiation protection standards.

Job Requirements

Certifications Required :

ARRT (T)

California Radiation Therapy License

BLS – Basic Life Support

Preferred Experience :

Familiarity with CT Simulation (Toshiba), dosimetry, and beam modifying techniques.

Experience with a variety of cancer diagnoses including pancreatic, testicular, Hodgkin’s, and Non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma.

Experience with specialized procedures such as Respiratory Gating, Stereotactic Radiosurgery (SRS), and Tomo Therapy.

Work Setting & Support :

Focused on adult and geriatric populations

Average daily caseload : 20 patients per machine

Unit includes 2 treatment rooms

Interdisciplinary collaboration encouraged across oncology services
