Position Summary :

Reporting to the Sr. Factory Controller, the Sr. Cost Analyst plays a vital role in developing standard cost and maintaining in SAP as well as conducting financial and operational analyses related to material spend, inventory levels utilization / manufacturing variances, Gross Margin, EBITDA, and other pertinent financial metrics. The Sr. Cost Analyst actively contributes to the ongoing generation of cost improvement ideas to drive enhanced business outcomes. As a member of the Supply Chain team, the Sr. Cost Analyst primarily supports the Cost Accounting Systems while also providing analytical support to the Global Procurement organization.

This position will be completely onsite at our Bohemia, NY factory location.

Responsibilities :

• Act as a Business partner for the factory management of a manufacturingsite, providing support on all financial matters and participating in the Local Leadership Team
• Ensure proper execution of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings and prepare standard and non-standard journal entries in accordance with Nestle Accounting Standards
• Independently handle yearly cost planning (Annual Cost Estimate), monthly reporting, variance analysis and forecasting (Year End Estimate) for the site as well as planning and calculating production costs, transfer price revisions, and maintainingmaster data
• Provide analytics to evaluate variances to standard. Provide explanations to the key drivers along with recommendations to improve costs. Communicate cost risks and opportunities to leadership
• Proactively manage emerging risks and opportunities in cooperation with factory management
• Prepare cost studies and profitability analyses for investment decisions and special evaluations (e.g., benchmarks)
• Adhere to factory costing processes with Nestle Costing Standards
• Drive process optimization towards more digitalization and simplification, supporting the factory in TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) , NCE ( Nestle's Continuous Improvement program) , and Lean Manufacturing initiatives

The approximate pay range for this position is $95,000- $105,000 base. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location.
