sUAS Production Manager

Overview

COLSA is hiring for a UAS Production Manager to lead exciting unmanned aerial systems projects. You\'ll oversee production workflows, guide a skilled team, and act a key client liaison – ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest standards.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the overall management of the Production staff; provides managerial guidance to team of UAS engineers, technicians, and specialists regarding production workflow, operations and problem solving based on expertise and knowledge
• Responsible for ensuring that staffing, facilities, equipment, etc., are adequate for successful completion of the task / project
• Responsible for preparing department specific reports as required by government or customer
• Develops policies, guidelines, and procedures and recommends changes to procedure when needed
• Works alongside other UAS team leads and managers to ensure customer satisfaction relating to technical contract performance; may work independently as needed
• Coordinates some logistics elements, including but not limited to spares, support equipment, training, facilities, technical data, and provisioning
• Controls the flow of assets, services, and information between point of origin through receipt in order to meet customer requirement
• Serves as liaison between department and other departments as well as with outside customers, regulatory personnel, etc.
