Overview

The Business Systems Engineer supports the Information Technology Team's mission by delivering right on time information that is useful and accessible. This role is responsible for supporting, optimizing, integrating, and maturing Gosiger's enterprise business platforms, primarily NetSuite ERP. The Business Systems Engineer plays a key role in system architecture and cross-functional collaboration to improve operational efficiency and data integrity. This will be accomplished by working closely with business unit analysts and stakeholders to configure systems, automate processes, and ensure seamless platform integration.

Essential Responsibilities

• NetSuite Configuration & Deployment : Configure roles, permissions, workflows, and SuiteScript customizations.
• Develop, enhance, and maintain dashboards and metrics in each of the functional groups.
• Support testing, documentation, and training.
• Ensure system alignment with business processes and compliance standards.
• Systems Integration & Support : Design and implement integrations between NetSuite and other platforms (e.g., HubSpot, CRM, finance tools).
• Maintain and enhance existing integrations and data flows.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues across platforms.
• Business Process Optimization : Collaborate with business unit analysts to understand requirements and translate them into system solutions.
• Document and refine workflows to improve operational efficiency.
• Support change management and adoption of new tools and processes.
• Cross-System Strategy & Expansion : Provide technical leadership for future system implementations and upgrades.
• Maintain documentation and architecture for business systems.
• Support digital transformation initiatives and data governance.
• Team & Organizational Support : Recognize issues needing escalation to IT Leadership when necessary.
• Follow the goals and guidelines set forth in the IT policy, business continuity plan, and data retention requirements, including data structure and integrity.
• Be ready to assist and help all team members in IT when needed or necessary.
• Commitment to ongoing personal and professional development through training, coaching, and / or mentoring.
• Other duties as assigned.
