About the Opportunity

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing key aspects of the accounting cycle, with a focus on fixed assets, depreciation schedules, month-end processes, and journal entries. This role requires advanced Excel skills and a commitment to accuracy, efficiency, and meeting deadlines. The Senior Accountant will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and provide valuable insights to management through accurate financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant :

Maintain and manage fixed asset records, including additions, disposals, and monthly depreciation calculations

Prepare and post accurate journal entries in accordance with GAAP

Perform month-end close activities, including reconciliations and financial reporting

Analyze and review financial data to identify discrepancies or areas for improvement

Utilize advanced Excel functions to compile, analyze, and present data

Collaborate with finance leadership and operational teams to support business decisions and process improvements

Qualifications for the Senior Accountant :

Advanced Excel proficiency (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, complex formulas)

Exceptional attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to meet tight deadlines

Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
