Position : Welder
Wage : Based off of experience
We're seeking an experienced Welder to collaborate with the steel shop team and support production needs. This role involves reading and interpreting blueprints, assembling and fabricating metal components, and using high-heat welding machinery to shape and join materials.
What You'll Do :
- Form, bend, and tack weld armatures and custom fabrications; work with materials such as mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.
- Operate tools such as a drill press, band saw, punch press, benders, grinders, and portable and hand tools.
- Use precision measuring equipment to ensure precision and quality results; inspect work to meet expectations.
- Read and interpret documents such as blueprints.
- Move materials using hoists, cranes, and rigging.
- Drive a forklift (certification provided), lift, move, and load products and materials including for shipment.
- Perform general labor duties.
