Job Description
Summary
The Senior Trade Compliance Manager, Jurisdiction and Classification, role will act as the subject matter expert and leader for Teledyne's global Jurisdiction & Classification (JC) program and report directly to the Teledyne Chief Trade Compliance Counsel. As a member of the Teledyne Corporate International Trade Compliance (CITC) team, this position will work with engineering teams together with business and Trade Compliance personnel to understand and classify the products (hardware, software, and technology) that Teledyne exports and will serve as one of the primary Trade Compliance points of contact for JC determinations, training, and support worldwide. This role will directly supervise Corporate Compliance Engineer(s) and will indirectly supervise designated JC Focals.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Education And / Or Experience
Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university in a related field a 8 plus years of directly related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Working experience in performing structured Orders of Review required to substantiate a JC self-determination or support a formal CJ Request. Working experience involving the International Traffic in Arms Regulations, Export Administration Regulations, U.S. Customs Regulations, and Office of Foreign Assets Control Regulations; experience with non-U.S. jurisdictions' export control lists strongly preferred. Experience with HS classification also strongly preferred. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret governmental regulations, general business periodicals, professional journals, or technical procedures. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Proficient in MS Outlook; MS Excel and MS WordExperience with Global Trade Management automation platforms and / or enterprise resource planning systems (ERPs) with native trade compliance functionality.

ITAR regulations dictate that information and material pertaining to defense and military related technologies (for items listed on the US Munitions List) may only be shared with US Persons unless authorization from the Department of State is received or a special exemption is used.

Salary Range :
$120,300.00-$160,400.000
