Job Title : Director of Construction – Multifamily & Commercial

Location : Relocation Opportunity (U.S.)

My client is a leading General Contractor & Developer with a strong portfolio across multifamily, mixed-use, and commercial projects . With a reputation for delivering high-quality developments on time and within budget, they are growing rapidly and seeking a senior leader to oversee their construction operations.

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Director of Construction to lead and manage the company’s construction division. This individual will be responsible for overseeing multiple large-scale projects, developing project teams, and ensuring excellence in safety, quality, and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide executive-level leadership and oversight across all construction projects
  • Manage teams of Project Managers, Superintendents, and Estimators
  • Ensure timely delivery of multifamily and commercial projects within budget and quality standards
  • Oversee project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation
  • Build and maintain strong client, developer, and subcontractor relationships
  • Develop and implement construction policies, procedures, and best practices
  • Report directly to executive leadership on project performance and strategy

Requirements

  • 10+ years of progressive construction experience with a minimum of 5 years in multifamily construction (mid-rise, high-rise, garden style, or mixed-use)
  • Strong experience with commercial projects (office, retail, hospitality, or institutional)
  • Proven track record managing $50M+ in annual construction volume
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Must be open to relocation within the U.S. (relocation package provided)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
