Job Description :

A leading engineering firm is seeking a technically diversified Senior Engineering Manager to lead and expand its Transportation and Structural Practice in Florida. The ideal candidate will have over 15 years of experience in structural design projects for FDOT and other local agencies across Florida. This role involves project planning, engineering design, project management, business development, team leadership, budget management, quality assurance, and staff recruitment. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on stimulating projects alongside experienced teammates and contribute significantly to the firm's growth.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

• Provide guidance and mentorship to entry-level and senior-level engineers, EITs, and CAD staff.
• Lead the design and technical direction of bridge transportation projects.
• Coordinate with interfacing disciplines to ensure project alignment.
• Stay proficient in relevant engineering software.
• Manage budgets, schedules, and project quality while keeping current with regulatory changes and agency protocols.
• Develop proposals, scopes of work, staff-hour estimates, and work plans for engineering projects.
• Travel domestically (up to 25%) for project site visits and client meetings.
