Choice Hotels, one of the world's largest lodging franchisors, has an exciting opportunity as our Partnership Strategy & Operations Senior Manager in the Corporate Development & Strategic Alliances team. This team focuses on reimagining partnerships to create value for stakeholders including guests, franchisees, partners, employees, and shareholders. The role involves defining, designing, and delivering strategic initiatives for existing partners and implementing new partnership frameworks.

Your Responsibilities

  • Leverage data to formulate and execute strategic initiatives aligned with business goals.
  • Optimize operational processes to ensure efficiency and scalability.
  • Lead strategic projects from conception to completion, promoting innovation and operational effectiveness.
  • Establish performance dashboards and track KPIs to measure success.
  • Develop and execute the Strategic Partnerships playbook, including partner onboarding, customer care, and performance measurement strategies.
  • Review partner integration and launch protocols, advising leadership on continuous improvements.
  • Communicate recommendations effectively to senior leadership and partners.

Relationship & Stakeholder Management

  • Develop long-term relationships with key partners for mutual growth.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to optimize relationships and generate value.
  • Support quarterly business reviews and joint initiatives.
  • Collaborate with legal, marketing, technology, and other teams on partner initiatives.
  • Identify key stakeholders, unblock issues, and manage relationships.
  • Create engaging presentations for leadership and partners.

    • Business Development & Growth Support

  • Underwrite partnership and M&A opportunities, assessing financial outcomes.
  • Prepare presentations for leadership on partnership risks and benefits.
  • Negotiate contracts with partners, working with legal and finance teams.
  • Create pitch decks demonstrating strategic value.

    • Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Management, Hotel Management, or related field.
  • MBA or project management certification is a plus.
  • At least 5 years of experience in strategy, partnership implementation, or related fields, preferably in hospitality.
  • Experience in consulting and building executive presentations.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and collaborate across teams.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and strategic thinking skills.
  • Financial acumen and ability to articulate partnership value.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

    • Team & Location

    This is an individual contributor role reporting to the Senior Director of Strategic Alliances, based at our headquarters in North Bethesda, MD, with hybrid work options.

    Salary & Benefits

    The salary range is $112,803 to $132,000 annually, plus potential bonuses. Benefits include medical / dental / vision, paid time off, retirement plans, employee discounts, and more.
