    About the Role

    We are seeking a skilled and dedicated MRI Technologist to join our Imaging Department in Washington, DC . In this role, you will perform high-quality MRI examinations in accordance with departmental protocols and professional standards, ensuring patient safety and delivering exceptional diagnostic imaging services.

    You will play a key role in supporting departmental efficiency, mentoring MRI students and technologists, and upholding the highest standards of safety in the magnetic environment.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Perform MRI procedures in accordance with established protocols and safety standards.
    • Provide compassionate and professional patient care throughout the imaging process.
    • Ensure strict adherence to magnetic safety protocols for patients, staff, and equipment.
    • Maintain MRI equipment, exam rooms, and work areas in optimal condition.
    • Serve as a knowledgeable resource for MRI students and fellow technologists.
    • Assist with workflow and ancillary tasks to promote efficient department operations.
    • Qualifications

    • Experience :
    • Minimum 2 years of acute care experience required.

    • Lead MRI experience preferred.
    • Education :
    • High School Diploma required.

    • Diploma from an accredited School of Radiologic Technology required.
    • BS or MS in Healthcare preferred.
    • Certifications :
    • ARRT (MR) certification required.

    • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required.
