Security Professional - Media Patrol

Lenexa, KS , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech / Media / Telecom, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will actively monitor and patrol assigned areas within a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents, while you deliver exceptional customer service and communication to all you encounter. What You'll Do :

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education

Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams

Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service

Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond to emergencies as needed.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following established protocols.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including business areas and the perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.

Observe for signs of suspicious activity and report any irregularities to Allied Universal management and / or site contacts as appropriate.

Assist visitors and employees by providing information and guidance related to security-related procedures at the location.

Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and promptly.

Collaborate with Allied Universal team members to maintain a security-related presence and provide a welcoming environment.

Availability across various days and shifts

Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments

A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company

Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements :

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
