JOB SUMMARY

The Production Support Coordinator provides day-to-day administrative support to the manufacturing operations floor supervision and management team. This role ensures that production teams have the resources, information, and documentation necessary to meet production goals while maintaining quality, safety, and delivery standards.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Production Support :
  • Assists supervisors and managers in coordinating daily production schedules, work orders, labor entry, PM software work orders, and shift activities.

  • Documentation & Reporting :
  • Prepares, updates, and distributes production reports, work instructions, and other documentation needed on the shop floor.

  • Communication :
  • Serves as a liaison between production teams, scheduling, quality, maintenance, and management to ensure timely communication of priorities and issues.

  • Problem-Solving Support :
  • Assists supervisors with follow-up on production issues, non-conformances, and supply delays by gathering information and coordinating with relevant departments.

  • Training Support :
  • Helps organize onboarding materials, skills matrices, and training schedules for shop floor personnel.

  • Continuous Improvement :
  • Supports supervisors in collecting data for process improvement, safety initiatives, and lean manufacturing projects.

  • Compliance :
  • Ensures production paperwork, logs, and records are accurately maintained and compliant with Company and ISO standards.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing support, production coordination, or administrative role.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and ERP / MRP systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work collaboratively with production staff and management.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, changing environment.
  • PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Associate's degree in business, operations, or a related field
  • Familiarity with machining or metal manufacturing environments.
