Salary : $20.00+ per hour depending on experience

JOB PURPOSE

Assuring that all attachments that leave the building are free of flaws and meet all expectations; Shipping andloading products fast, efficiently and safely. Load and secure products in a thoughtful and organized manner toensure everything makes it to its destination safely without damages to products or customer property.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for assessing quality and identifying flaws or errors on finished attachments, both beforestoring onto shelves and before packaging and loading.Report errors to supervisor promptly.
• Organize and clean inventory and inventory storage area.
• Build pallets.
• Maintain the outside of the building; clean and pick up any trash, put away pallets and other items, organizeequipment and maintain a clean safe walkway.
• Shovel and salt outdoor walkways in the winter.
• Load pallets into semi-trailers, onto trailer beds and into pickup truck beds safely and without damagingproperty.
• Make sure all pallets are loaded in an organized and thoughtful manner.
• Follow trailer guidelines such as maximum weight, load distribution, etc.
• Keep and maintain records of all products shipped to and received from the shop.
• Pack products in shipping containers; create mailing labels and shipping documents.
• Ensure that all orders have been filled correctly; think ahead to make sure your orders will go out on time.
• Consolidate shipments when possible.
• Collaborate and communicate with logistic technicians, customer service representatives, service providers,and others involved in the shipment and receipt of products.
• Track, trace and update the status of incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Promptly unload trucks and deliveries; sort and stock receivables.
• Engage with vendors and drivers with a positive attitude.

WORKING CONDITIONS

The employee must be able to work outside in all different types of weather as needed. The noise level in thework environment is usually low to moderate.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit. The employee is regularlyrequired to stand, walk, use hands to handle or feel materials, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear. Theemployee is occasionally required to climb or balance, and to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee mustoccasionally lift and / or move up to 50 pounds manually.
