This role oversees various administrative aspects of Interior Design projects and acts as the liaison between designers and clients to keep projects on schedule and aligned with business initiatives. A Design Project Manager should have strong organizational, time management, and communication skills, and an excellent understanding of interior design, style, and decor.
Position Summary Responsible for overseeing administrative aspects of all Interior Design projects. For a project, the Project Manager will be the liaison between the designers and clients. Make decisions and monitor the project to keep it on schedule by supporting the designers in meeting a set deadline to uphold business initiatives.
Responsibilities Manage all design projects from conception through completion
Represent Hive Collective lifestyle brand through communication, personal appearance, and professionalism
Provide a luxury experience for the clientele by mastering and executing Hive Collective's design aesthetic for residential Interior Design
Be a communication conduit to clients and business partners on behalf of Designers
Coordinate and manage all moving parts of the design and installation with the ultimate goal of having satisfied clients and business partners
Price all specified items, create product cards, manage POs in Lightspeed, and track orders through to accounting / payment installation
Maintain financial master spreadsheet and inventory status spreadsheet for all open orders to reflect payments and estimated ship dates
Maintain master Design client spreadsheet with all new client information
Manage calendar for Designers by setting and confirming all client and vendor appointments
Coordinate and schedule all vendor presentations
Adjust schedules and targets on the projects as needs or financing for the project change
Track deliveries and partner with the Warehouse Team to provide an estimated time of arrival so they are prepared to receive the product
Inspect all items upon arrival for quality control and report any damage to the appropriate vendor
Manage third-party receivers when used for large-scale projects
Act as the office manager to ensure clients are being cared for and all supplies are in stock for the Design Office and Studio
Ensure all invoices, in partnership with accounting, have proper paperwork
Receives and processes all Hive, PURE by Hive, and Hive Trade pillow orders

Requirements / Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Business Administration, or related field preferred
1–2+ years of experience in interior design, project coordination, or a related design / creative role
Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar design software required, with 3+ years of AutoCAD experience preferred
Experience working in a marketing, design, or creative agency environment preferred
Strong working knowledge of design processes, from concept to installation
Proficiency in Lightspeed, Microsoft Office Suite, and project management tools
Familiarity with accounting processes and managing purchase orders
Strong organizational skills with proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Professional demeanor with the ability to represent Hive Collective’s luxury lifestyle brand
