Full Professor (Tenured) in Demography

Overview

The Department of Sociology at the University of Notre Dame invites applications for an Endowed Chair Professor at the rank of Full (tenured) with expertise in demography to begin in Fall 2026. The position is tied to the Notre Dame Population Analytics, and the successful applicant will be a field-leader who has shown a capacity to help build this exciting new program. This position aligns with the University's Strategic Framework and is supported by Notre Dame's Poverty Initiative.

The appointment is designed to further the Department's research and teaching mission and to contribute to cross-disciplinary initiatives at Notre Dame.
