About the Role : Transitional Age Community Treatment : Peer Support Specialist

This program supports the first episode of psychosis.

The Transitional Age Community Treatment (TACT) program is a community and home-based treatment provided to clients aged 15-29 using a collaborative team approach. The TACT program provides a supportive environment to help clients identify their goals toward recovery and resiliency. TACT teaches skills that will help clients work towards their self-identified life goals (social, educational, housing, benefits, illness management, etc.).

As a Peer Support Specialist, you can expect to provide a supportive environment to help clients identify their own goals toward recovery and / or resiliency. Peers help teach skills to help clients work towards their self-identified goals (social, educational, housing, benefit, illness management, etc.). You will use your unique personal experience to engage clients in a peer-to-peer capacity.
