Salary : $104,800 - $124,500, bonus eligible

Shift : Hybrid, Monday - Friday

Role Summary

The Controller is responsible for overseeing the financial operations of Golden Road's Brewery and Pub locations, ensuring accuracy and compliance in accordance with company standards and GAAP compliance. The position involves the execution and management of day-to-day accounting transactions and the financial planning & analysis of the brand. Additionally, this position leads and mentors a team of 3 accounting support employees.

Job Responsibilities

The accounting execution and management responsibilities include, but not limited to, the following :

• Establish and manage policies, procedures, controls and reporting systems.
• Accountable for the month-end close process.
• Account reconciliation of bank, cash till, intercompany, and other balance sheet accounts.
• Inventory management, true-ups, and adjustments.
• Expense report oversight, accruals, and management.
• Accounts payable processing, approval hierarchy and vendor set up.
• Continuous cross-functional interaction to ensure compliance to policies and procedures.
• Coordinates the input and output of the accounting systems including all required reports.
• Point of contact for inquiries on the financial reporting systems and applications.
• Ensure all financial statements are adhering to International Financial Standards Reporting for craft operations.
• Liaison with centralized Business Services Center in support of accounting transactions.
