Responsibilities Position is on a Cardiac Med / Surg unit in a hospital setting Night shifts from 7 : 00 pm to 7 : 30 am, three 12-hour shifts per week Patients include those requiring cardiac and medical-surgical care Uses Epic EMR system Responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating comprehensive patient care for cardiac and medical-surgical patients Collaborate with interdisciplinary team and contribute to evidence-based practice Tasked with obtaining lab specimens and performing bedside testing per protocols Must adapt teaching strategies to patient / family needs and readiness No travel partners accepted for this assignment Time off (RTO) not to exceed 7 days per 13-week contract Travelers may not work more than one year continuously and must take a six-month break before returning Shift requires multitasking and prioritization of patient care responsibilities Requirements Active Illinois RN license in good standing or temporary IL RN license accepted Minimum of one year relevant RN experience required, with three years preferred Current BLS certification (AHA) Epic EMR experience required Level 1 trauma experience required ASN required, BSN preferred Must reside more than 50 miles from facility (no locals) Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-621246.
