Baling Machine Operator

Schedule : Monday-Friday 7 : 45am-5 : 00pm (possible Saturdays 8am-12pm).

Pay : $18 / hr.

Job Summary :

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Baling Machine Operator to join our team. This position is responsible for operating baling equipment to compress recyclable materials such as cardboard, plastic, and other waste. We are willing to provide training for the safe and effective use of a skid steer loader to assist with moving materials to the baler. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a commitment to workplace safety, and excellent attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities :

• Operate baling machine to compress and bind recyclable materials (cardboard, plastic, etc.)
• Safely move materials to and from the baler using a skid steer (training provided).
• Monitor material quality and remove any contaminants before baling.
• Stack, label, and store finished bales according to company standards.
• Keep work area clean and organized to maintain a safe working environment.
• Accurately record bale counts and material weights.
• Follow all safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
