Cardiology - Interventional Physician

We are seeking a locums Interventional-Cardiology physician for a site in Dixon, Illinois.

Oct.31-Nov. 3 , Nov. 7-10 , Nov. 27- Dec. 1 , Dec. 5-8 , Dec. 25-29, Jan. 2-5

IMLC or active Illinois state license required

Cardiologist needed to provide weekend call coverage.

Must do interventional and general cardiology.

This is a part-time, weekend call position that requires coverage for 24-hour shifts from 5 : 00 PM on Friday until 8 : 00 AM on Monday, two weekends per month.

Respond to calls for emergent patient care, including consultations and interventions.

Round on patients both Saturday and Sunday, with expected rounding time of 4-5 hours each day.

Be available for on-call coverage from 5 : 00 PM Friday to 8 : 00 AM Monday, though onsite presence is only required for rounding and specific procedures.

Average call back to the hospital is expected to be 0-4 times per day, depending on patient needs.

Ensure timely, high-quality care of patients during weekend shifts.

Provide clear and detailed documentation of patient encounters and any interventions performed.
