Shift : 7 : 00 PM - 7 : 00 AM

Experience :

• 24 months of role experience is required from last 12 months.
• Must have at least 12 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience with 9 months within the past 12 months.
• 3 months of experience with Meditech is preferred from any number of months.
• Trauma Level 2 experience is required from any number of months

Requirements :

50 miles from facility to be submitted.

Additional Details :

Required Skills / Experience : Med / Surg Experience, ability to prioritize care, multitask, start IV's, basic wound care, maintenance of surgical drains, nasogastric tubes, & chest tubes.

Required Credentials : Comprehensive Stroke, ACS Verified Level II Trauma Center, Certified Chest Pain Center.

Equipment Used on Unit : IV Pumps, Telemetry, SCD's, Continuous Pulse Ox Machines, Feeding Pumps, PCA, EKG machines, bladder scanner, iMobile communication technology.

Unit / Facility Details : Medical Surgical / Neuro.

Special Requests : Number of Beds : 20. Any special scheduling requests must be made with Manager upon arrival at facility.

Shift & Scheduling : 2 weekends (4 shifts) per 4 week schedule.

Floating Requirements : Contract labor is first to float; go by rotation when there are multiple C / L staff scheduled.

10 days maximum time off

1 reference from last 12 months (Charge / Lead reference type) - required for submission
