Robot Service Technician

A multinational company with a facility in the Greater Detroit Area is currently seeking several Robot Service Technicians for Long Term opportunities with their growing team. Robot Service Technician rates are anticipated to be between $25 -$30 per hour based on each candidates experience and education (More for well-qualified candidates). Training will be provided for entry level candidates looking to grow their career. All well qualified candidates will be considered regardless of pay rate. Overtime is paid at premium rates over 40 hours. An average work week will be around 50-60 hours. We offer excellent benefits including great medical, dental, 401k, and tuition reimbursement. Qualified Robot Service Technicians will have most, if not all, of the following skills and experience : " 2 + years of recent / relevant experience with robotic automation systems for automotive or other highly technical industries. " 1 + years of recent / relevant experience with robot install, debug and maintenance " Must be able to travel 50 % out of town " 2 year degree in electronics or related fields is preferred but not essential. " Veterans are encouraged to apply " Must be able to work in the United States (no H-1 sponsorship or student visas will be considered) " Must be able to complete standard pre-hire checks including background, drug screen, references, etc.
