Department Detail – The Food Services department seeks to provide a high-quality lunch for staff and their guests. Food Services seeks to do so while maintaining accountability to BGEA’s donors of good stewardship. Furthermore, this department services numerous breaks and in-house functions each week. It also prepares and serves food for special after-hours events. The goal of Food Services is to perform all of this while reflecting the love of Jesus to each guest as the opportunity to serve arises.

Job Summary – This is a seasonal position in support of our Christmas at the Library program, however, will allow for employment opportunity prior to the program beginning in December. This position will assist our guests while celebrating the Savior’s birth with family and friends through our dining services options. One which includes includes a traditional buffet-style Christmas Dinner experience within our beautiful dining space located directly behind the Billy Graham Library. Guests may also opt for dining within our Graham Brother’s Dairy Bar inside the Billy Graham Library. The Christmas at the Library Dining Services Associate will assist guests with fulfilling orders, guest seating, preparation and sanitization of dining areas, replenishing of buffet items, and other tasks. The set schedule of this position will last for three weeks and including primarily working evenings and weekends.

• Participates in daily BGEA staff devotions including Bible reading, and leading group prayer as schedule permits

• Effectively represents Jesus Christ to those within both personal and professional spheres of influence

Associate or Seasonal employees may work up to 19 hours a week (not to exceed 1000 hours a year (calendar / sequential)), and are not eligible for any benefits.
