We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our interventional pain practice as a Workers' Compensation Coordinator.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of workers' compensation claims for our patients, ensuring timely and accurate processing, and maintaining effective communication with insurance companies, employers, attorneys, and other stakeholders. Your primary objective will be to facilitate the smooth and efficient handling of workers' compensation cases, ensuring optimal reimbursement for our services while providing exceptional customer service to our patients and partners.

Key Responsibilities :

• Workers' Compensation Case Management :

Initiate and manage workers' compensation cases for patients, ensuring all required documentation is complete and accurate.

Communicate and negotiate with insurance carriers, claims adjusters, and case managers to obtain pre-authorization for treatments, procedures, and medication.

Advocate for patients' rights and ensure their access to necessary medical treatments, therapies, and interventions.

Collaborate with the medical team to schedule appointments, procedures, and evaluations for injured workers.

Accurately record all interactions, documentation, and communication related to workers' compensation cases in electronic medical records and other relevant systems.
