Position Summary :

The Engineering Manager is responsible for planning and directing the activities of the Engineering group for the purpose of improvement of productivity, quality, capacity expansion, and for the production of new products and new materials through the development and application of new manufacturing technologies.

Team Overview and Job Responsibilities :

• Lead continuous improvement activities to achieve the annual plan of proficiency projects.
• Lead and enforce the culture of safety, health and environment in their work team and daily tasks.
• Recruit, develop and guide resources to improve total performance and productivity.
• Prepare and update annually the capital plan to support the business plan and manage capital project execution within budget and timeline.
• Review and evaluate the key performance indicator (KPI) on an ongoing basis and identify area for improvements.
• Provide direction of work plans, in addition to ensuring the development of generating multi-skills of operational personnel on equipment under their responsibility.
• Develop and maintain process standards, procedures and specifications to ensure consistent product quality.
• Direct supervision and development of the process engineering group made of 6 process engineers and 2 process technicians.
