Akkodis is seeking an RF Engineer I for a Contract with a client in Edison, NJ(Hybrid). This role supports DAS and small cell network design, optimization, and testing using tools like CW tests and predictive modeling.

Rate Range : $37 / hour to 39 / hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

RF Engineer I job responsibilities include :

Design DAS and small cell networks, including site selection, CW testing, and customer documentation preparation.

Support system configuration, testing, and optimization, ensuring performance and reliability of DAS and SCN deployments.

Conduct RF and fiber testing, troubleshoot issues, and provide recommendations for system upgrades.

Utilize engineering tools and software, such as EMS, MapInfo, and Excel, for data analysis and network planning.

Collaborate with internal teams and customers, communicating technical results and system performance insights.

Perform field measurements and drive testing, including CW, benchmark, and optimization activities.

Required Qualifications :

Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering (BSEE); master’s degree (MSEE) preferred.

2–4 years of RF engineering experience or equivalent.

Strong understanding of antenna theory, radio wave propagation, and small cell architecture.

Proficiency in EMS tools and mid-to-advanced level skills in MS Excel.

Pay Details : $37.00 to $39.00 per hour
