Shop Services Clerk

Overview :

Egan Company is seeking candidates for a Shop Services Clerk position located in our Panel Shop in Champlin, MN. This is an hourly position with standard work hours of 6 : 00 am - 2 : 30 pm, Monday through Friday, with occasional weekends and overtime as needed. This position will report to the Panel Shop Operations Supervisor in our Industrial Controls Group.

Responsibilities :

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials, components, and supplies for damage and accuracy.
• Accurately place products in designated warehouse locations.
• Resolve shipping errors, lost shipments, and internal picking errors.
• Process shipping information with vendors and our Shop Information System.
• Maintain a safe, organized, clean, and efficient work environment.
• Pick and kit components to support production needs.
• Operate a forklift safely and efficiently for material handling (certification provided).
• Participate in 5S and Lean initiatives.
• Identify and contribute to Continuous Process Improvement efforts.
• Adhere to all safety and security regulations within the shop and warehouse.
• Maintain professional communication with coworkers, customers, subcontractors, vendors, project managers, office, and field staff.
• Collaborate effectively within a team environment to achieve shared goals.

Hourly Range : $20.83 - $24.02 (subject to such factors as experience, education, and / or skill set) plus potential annual discretionary bonus.
