Position Summary :
V-Tech Solutions, Inc. is seeking detail-oriented and compliance-driven candidates to serve as Health Licensing Specialist I in Washington, DC. The Health Licensing Specialist I will support credentialing and licensing processes for healthcare professionals, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and organizational policies.
Requirements :
- Education : High School Diploma or GED (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Health Administration or related field preferred)
- Certification : None required (credentialing or compliance certifications are a plus)
- Skills & Abilities :
- General understanding of healthcare credentialing processes
- Ability to manage and verify applications, reappointments, and documentation
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Proficiency in using databases and credentialing systems
- Effective communication and organizational skills
- Ability to interpret and apply regulatory guidelines and facility policies
Responsibilities :
Maintain regular cooperation and compliance with regulatory, accreditation, and membership-based organizationsImplement credentialing processes for physicians, medical assistants, and other healthcare professionalsEnsure adherence to departmental policies, facility guidelines, and government regulationsReview credentialing applications and paperwork for accuracy and completenessMaintain and update databases with healthcare professionals’ training, education, certifications, experience, and licensureUse designated systems to enter and manage credentialing dataSupport ongoing compliance efforts and assist with audits or reviews as neededAdditional Information :
