Position Summary
The Administrator is responsible for the overall leadership, management, and operations of the facility. This role ensures that all services are provided in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, and that the highest standards of resident care, quality of life, and employee engagement are consistently achieved.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Plan, develop, organize, implement, and direct the day-to-day operations of the facility and its programs.
Provide leadership and guidance to department directors, promoting teamwork and collaboration across departments.
Develop, implement, and maintain facility policies and procedures in compliance with regulatory requirements.
Ensure residents’ rights, quality of care, and quality of life standards are upheld at all times.
Interpret and communicate facility policies to staff, residents, families, visitors, and regulatory agencies.
Participate in surveys and inspections conducted by authorized government agencies.
Oversee risk management, quality assurance, infection control, and performance improvement programs.
Monitor facility budgets, financial performance, and resource allocation to meet organizational goals.
Lead departmental meetings, training programs, and staff development initiatives.
Maintain confidentiality of resident information, including protected health information (PHI).
Promote a culture of accountability, compliance, and resident-centered care.
Perform other related duties as assigned by the Director of Operations.

Job Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree required; degree in Business Administration or Health Administration preferred.
Current, unencumbered Nursing Home Administrator’s license in Illinois.
Minimum of 2 years’ supervisory experience in a skilled nursing facility.
Knowledge of nursing facility operations, reimbursement regulations, and compliance standards.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Proficiency with computer systems and office applications.
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
