Job Description Summary :

Responsible to prepare and deliver Chemistry coursework in engaging, innovative, and discipline-appropriate ways that reflect a commitment to student success, an understanding of culturally responsive teaching, and knowledge of the teaching field. Meets professional standards for faculty in accordance with college policies and procedures. Instruction will occur in the classroom face-to-face and in a variety of distance education modalities. This position starts August 2026.

Job Description :

The Chemistry Department offers on-campus and online college credit classes across multiple ACC campuses. Courses offered include Introduction to Chemistry, General Chemistry I and II, General Chemistry for Engineering Majors and Organic Chemistry I and II. The Chemistry Department is united in its vision of providing the best possible learning environment for our students that develops their intellectual, ethical, social consciousness and leadership potential and produces students who are well equipped to enter the job market or Graduate / professional school.
