Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Operating Room position requiring a SC or compact license and BLS certification.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Work in the Surgery department of a hospital in an Operating Room (OR) setting
  • Day shifts of 10 hours, scheduled from 6 : 30 a.m. to 5 : 00 p.m.
  • One on-call shift per week is required
  • Weekend coverage required one weekend every six weeks
  • Floating may be required as needed within skillset
  • Responsibilities include circulating and assisting in various surgical procedures
  • Must complete CMS Medicare Parts C and D Fraud, Waste & Abuse Training and General Compliance Training within 90 days of hire and annually
  • Travelers may only work 780 hours in the last 12 months at this health system, and must take a 12-month break after two assignments before returning
  • Prior employment with this health system is subject to eligibility review and approval

  • Active SC RN or compact RN license required
  • Current BLS certification required
  • Experience in the operating room setting is required
  • COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations required; medical / religious exceptions are accepted
