Position Description :

Gray Analytics is seeking a talented systems engineer to join a technology development program. We are looking for a self-starter with excellent people skills to assist in identifying customer needs and challenges and developing potential solutions. Specifically, as a System Engineer, the candidate will be expected to implement solutions across multiple digital engineering tools such as Cameo / MagicDraw and IBM DOORS, collaborate with team members of other disciplines to facilitate cohesive system solutions, interact with customers during collaboration discussions and review meetings, and understand modeling and simulation along with interoperability of tactical missile defense and Joint systems. The candidate will support the customer in Huntsville, Alabama. The majority of work will be performed onsite at Government facilities. Travel

Responsibilities :

• Assist in the development and implementation of system architectures, requirements, and specifications
• Collaborate with stakeholders and domain experts to ensure system design meets customer needs and requirements
• Conduct trade studies evaluating design alternatives to inform architectural decisions that optimizes performance, cost, and requirements
• Conduct analysis of system performance and provide recommendations for improvements
• Utilize modeling tools such as Cameo / MagicDraw, IBM DOORS, and others
• Assist in the preparation of technical reports, presentations, and documentation
• Participate in design reviews and testing activities.
• Participate in interoperability planning and modeling.
• Participate in modeling and simulation architecture, with an emphasis on software defined architecture.
