The Psychology Department at Utah Tech University (UT) in St. George, Utah, invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track position as an Assistant Professor of Marriage and Family Therapy, with a projected start date of July 1, 2026. The preferred candidate will possess a terminal degree in MFT and be licensed or license-eligible in the State of Utah. Teaching responsibilities will include both graduate and undergraduate courses, with primary responsibilities within the MFT Master's program. Candidates with experience in child and adolescent treatment are preferred.
The Psychology Department is a robust, growing program that includes its undergraduate program and a graduate program in Marriage and Family Therapy. The department and program are situated in a new, 120,000 square foot building on the UT campus with dedicated space for a community mental health clinic. POSITION DETAILS, COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS : Full-time (9-month) tenure-track faculty position. Faculty service begins August 2026, with pay and benefits starting July 1, 2026. Annual salary of $64,000-$67,000 depending on qualifications and experience, with additional compensation available for optional summer / overload teaching.
