Our client, one of the largest global providers of logistics in the beverage sector, consumer goods, clothing, machinery, and petroleum products, has an immediate opening for a Customs Entry Writer with experience in the Freight Forwarding Industry.
If you're interested in continuing a career in logistics / import / export, then there is a great opportunity for you!
What you'll be doing?
- Prepare entry documents for Customs release and Duty payment
- Rate commercial invoice with tariff numbers
- Prepare RLF entries
- Provide necessary document to other government agencies
- Prepare Customs brokerage files
- Verify arrival information with Airlines / Steamship Lines / NVOCC's
- Verify country of origin
- Prepare delivery order, send to trucker, and verify receipt
- Prepare billing package, bill file, and email / mail to clients
- Ensure all entries are filed on time and freight is delivered in a timely manner in accordance with company and customer expectations
- HTS classification and advisory
